The Cause is a Good One...
100% of the proceeds of the GFAC discs go to benefit the St. Lawrence Arts & Community Center in Portland, Maine, an historic church on Munjoy Hill, dedicated to providing the citizens of Portland with a center for recreational, artistic and educational programs that will be affordable to all. The Center, built as a Congregationalist church in 1897, closed its doors in 1986 due to dwindling attendance and mounting repair costs. The Friends of the St Lawrence, a grass roots, non-profit corporation that was formed in 1996, bought the building and is restoring it to resume it’s intended role as an important community resource.

How is Fundraising Going?
Proceeds from the previous Volumes 1-6 and Maine Tracks have raised over $90,000 for the St. Lawrence Arts and Community Center.
